Following the devastating earthquake on September 8th, we temporarily suspended our biodiversity and capacity-building initiatives to focus on the affected High and Anti Atlas communities. Their severe losses and lack of basic necessities required immediate humanitarian assistance. We prioritized helping these communities recover and rebuild before resuming our mission to support rural livelihoods and biodiversity conservation.

We have now resumed our mission, integrating empowering activities specifically designed for the communities most affected by the earthquake. This approach aims to uplift the Atlas communities, rebuild what they have lost, and support rural entrepreneurs who either lost their businesses or became discouraged due to the disaster.
