Dr Abdellah leads the strategic direction of MBLA and represents MBLA in interactions with key stakeholders, promoting the association’s initiatives and securing partnerships that enhance its impact. He is involved in all aspects of project implementation. Additionally, he supervises the Association’s staff and handles recruitment.

Abdellah holds a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, a Master’s degree in Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Conservation, Protection, and Valorization, and a PhD in Biotechnology of Natural Resources from the Faculty of Science of Semlalia at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, Morocco. In 2022, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the School of Pharmacy, University College London, where he focused on assessing the value chain and conducting the chemical characterization of a plant species from the High Atlas.
