As Regional Director of Al Haouz Program, Abdellah is responsible for implementing various biodiversity conservation interventions in MBLA’s community plant nurseries and seed bank implementation; recording flora data analysis and bio-cultural knowledge and strengthening the capacity of MBLA’s Community Researchers and local communities. Abdellah is also responsible for developing grant proposals, managing project activities, HR and purchasing and building and maintaining fruitful relationships with MBLA’s diverse partners in Morocco. Abdellah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, a Master’s degree in Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Conservation, Protection and Valorization and a PhD in Biotechnology of Natural Resources from Cadi Ayyad University’s Faculty of Science of Semlalia in Marrakech, Morocco.
