We are on a mission to protect healthy ecosystems and support rural economies in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

From planting trees and leading agrobiodiversity
trainings to incubating rural entrepreneurship
and organizing eco-tourism festivals, our work

Our transfomartive work is gaining global support

Our work in the Atlas Mountains has fostered growth and resilience for families and rural businesses. Cooperatives we supported now thrive, generating significant revenues and selling products across Morocco and Europe. Farmers have boosted crop production while improving land health, ensuring sustainable futures.

This impact has gained global recognition. In 2024, we received the Equator Prize for sustainable development and the British Humanitarian Medal for effective earthquake relief, highlighting our commitment to meaningful change.

Earthquake relief action

Earthquake relief action

After the September 8th earthquake, we temporarily paused our biodiversity and capacity-building projects to provide immediate humanitarian aid to the heavily affected High and Anti Atlas communities, which suffered significant losses and shortages of basic necessities. Once recovery efforts were underway, we returned to our mission, integrating new initiatives to support the hardest-hit areas. These include rebuilding agricultural infrastructure—such as irrigation canals, water reservoirs, and terraces—assisting rural entrepreneurs, and revitalizing livelihoods, all while continuing our broader work in biodiversity conservation and rural development.
